Thomas Locke Hobbs asked:
Last week up in Lake Tahoe I noticed that nearly every person at Diamon Peak was a skier while over at Northstar the vast majority were snowboarders. What is it about the mountain or the resort that makes one place popular with skiers vs. snowboarders?

Snowboarders like to jib the freshy while skiiers simply like to ski down the hill. Maybe there’s more pow for sicky gnar at Northstar, while Diamon Peak is more geared toward normal people or something. As you can tell from my awesome boarder speak I’m a skiier, and I personally prefer any mountain that is less crowded or has bowls. Other wise for me there’s not a huge difference between resorts besides the people that seem to flock there.
Boarders are going for terrain parks.
