My husband and I are looking to take a vacation in December (mostly because that’ll be 6 months after he starts work, so he’ll probably have vacation time by then). You know how everyone says you should visit New England in the fall and it’s best to visit Napa in the spring? I’m wondering what people say about Winter destinations. Although skiing is out of the question. I went once when I was a junior in high school and it killed my knees! (That was 8 years ago… so no old lady jokes! LOL!)

i’m a beginner and everywhere is selling helmets.. is this necessary or just for people who decide they want to wear them? I understand obviously it would be better if i wore one but is it essential at most ski/snowboard destinations? thankyou x
